Curtis V Cooper Primary Health Care has Pediatricians and Pediatric Practitioners on staff that treat infants, children, and teenagers. We’re available to meet each child’s unique needs, no matter the stage in life. The first 18 years of life have so many physical changes, and we’re here to keep them as healthy as possible.
A regular annual exam is essential so that our staff can detect any changes in your child’s life. All changes are more than just physical and include blood pressure, lab work, and updated vaccinations. Exams cover if your child is taking any current medications, family history, problems that may have. Annual exams is the perfect opportunity for parents of infants to bring up developmental concerns with their pediatrician.
Our pediatricians take care of newborns in the hospital and provide preventive health care, vaccinations, and anticipatory guidance for infants, after discharge from the newborn nursery. Babies need at least 12 visits during the first 3 years of life. They also provide screening and interventions for mothers during this time in order to assist them if needed, during this critical time, and to ensure healthy outcomes for their next pregnancy.
